Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar

Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar is a school offering HAVO, Gymnasium and an International School. Our school is located near The Hague in the beautiful village of Wassenaar in the province of South Holland. We are proud of our beautiful location, our bright and transparent building, but above all of our students! The school has been known for its international orientation since its creation. There are many extras for the subject German, such as an excursion to Berlin and Köln.

And of course we are also very happy to be the first Dutch school to take part in the "Art against Walls" project.

The interdisciplinary creative exploration of the topics "freedom" and "peace" in the combined German and art classes gives our students a very personal approach to the historical events surrounding the construction of the wall and the fall of the border between the two German states. We hope to be continues participating in the project with many other classes in the future and to create even more "Art against Walls"!
